Problems with new tires

I just came back from a 3,000 mile road trip from Vancouver to Palm Springs and back. The TL was very good, no complaints (other than the rattles, but loud music covers it). I decided to pick up a set of new tires, as the ones I came down on (Falken Ziex 912) were almost completely worn out. Now these tires were pretty good, but bad in rain and completely useless in snow. I went to a local America's Tire, as I had heard that they have a great selection and good prices. The guy I spoke to recommended Yokohama YK520s. He said they were quiet, and handled well in wet conditions. Tires were $155 each. So I ended up getting them, and drove back home 1400 miles. They were quiet, indeed, almost no road noise on smooth pavement. Now that I am back home and driving my regular in-town roads, I am noticing that the ride is quite bouncy. From a stop, when I accelerate, the cars seems to "lag" a bit. Also, when the car is parked, all 4 tires seem a little squished at the bottom. The Falkens were quite symmetrical all around when sitting. Is this how these are supposed to be?

P.S. - These are 235/45/17 on '07 stocks.

Yes, according to TPMS, they're all at least 35 psi. And I also checked with a tire pressure gauge.

next time choose a tire thats universally available. thats a 'club' tire. (sams/bjs/walmart/sears usually) its available only through discount tire and americas tire. club tires are usually junk. the things you've described dont mean theres really anything "wrong" with the tire though. just check the load and speed rating. you could get a little squat from a set of T or S rated tires, but the likelyhood of them being available in that size, and someone installing them on your car at a reputable buisness, is very unlikely.
