Problem with new rims. Cant get center caps on

just put new Tenzo R type M 19/8.5's on and to my dismay i cant get my center caps on... the gold things in the center stick out too far. i was told spacers would help but then if i put 1/2" spacers on i wont have near the amount of threading for the lugs needed for me to feel comfortable, less that half an inch or so. Any ideas? heres a pic of what it looks like

I wouldn't do spacers unless you change out the studs. You need enough thread so it has full coverage in the nut.

Its odd Tenzo sells wheels that don't fit the application.
