I've seen them on other cars. They look good to me. I like the rough/sporty look

If all else fails I'll get them powder coated black.

Anyway, enough busting your balls, I just like the look of the "rough" finish ala invincible's wheels. As seen here: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=133595

I love how his wheels look. It will go well with what I am going to do with my headlights!

ludachrisvt - when you get your wheels could you please weigh just the rim, and then weigh the rim with the tires on? I would like to see the difference in weight between these and stock. thanx in advance

They are comming to me mounted and balanced. The tire is usually the bulk of the weight for sure. My TSW kayalamis only weighed 20 lbs each and they were 20"! But with the tires on they were closer to 40-50 lbs.

ludachrisvt - could you please weigh the rims and the tires then? i would like to know a relatively accurate weight, like to the nearest pound.

this is really one of the deciding factors of whether or not i get new wheels

I'll try to remember man! I am pretty sure they wont be over 5-10 lbs difference though. That is pretty much neglidgable (sp). They arent chrome. If anything has an effect on performance it will be the diameter of the wheel!

i hope you like spending time at the dealership when your ride goes haywire. Mercedes has some of the worst consumer ratings of all car manufactures

^ i'll just get something else then. I change cars like I change clothes. Shit, I may even trade this bitch when the new 07 TL comes out. I am 12k in the Green with this car. I had ALOT of miles on the TL. Which my dad was able to give me a great trade in. Who wouldn't want to trade with a deal like that?

Anyway, if I dont like it, I can trade it and come out waaaaaaaaaaay on top.

The wheel itself probably weighs 20 lbs. It is the tire that makes it heavy.

Car looks awesome, man! I was driving my Accord, a few cars behind you. I saw kitted WDP car, lowered with rims, so I thought it had to be yours.

I thought it was you because your wheels have wide lips while King's wheels are lipless. Anyways, I'll prolly honk if possible the next time I see you or try to run you off the road. j/k.

I usually drive my Accord to work, trying to save my TL's mileage. It's an 06 Accord sedan with very dark tints. It's bone stock right now except for 3G TL wheels.

I should be back in town Saturday night. If I can, I'll be at the meet with some food and utensils.
