Potential TL owner--lowering questions

been lurking here for about a month decided to make a post

so im about to buy my second car and i think itll be a 2007 TL type s in a something metalic ^__^

i plan on dropping it low as hale while still being drivable so i have some questions about the suspension

since im getting the type s with the upgraded suspension can i still install coilovers?

does anyone here ride coilovers daily?if so what kind( i hear megan makes good ones for TLs)

what size rims would look good on a slammed tl and tire size?

my current car is an accord and i didnt really do homework before i slammed suspensionand tires/rims on so id like to do it right this tim

thanks in advance for any help

also pictures of your ride/setup would be awesome!

If you want to get coilovers, they will completely replace your stock shocks and springs. Some members here have TEIN Basic or TEIN SS coilovers, while some have Megan coilovers. I've never ridden in a TL with Megans, but I've ridden in a TL with TEIN SS and I was impressed with the ride quality.

19" wheels and a drop is most commonly found here and that's what most people would recommend you to do.

If you want pictures, just go to the Photograph Gallery and search around for a while.

if you are wanting slammed i woudl go coilovers as well. And of course you will always have the adjustability there for you. Tein coilovers and the megans care coming up pretty well and they both have a great price tag and is great engineering.
