how big is ur lip? it doesnt look that deep..i just order some 19" symbolic forged wheels based on ur wheel spec 19 x 8.5 + 38 offset..i was hoping to get a bigger lip by going + 38 instead of 45... +38 offset would give a deeper lip than a +45 right?

My theory based on what i've seen is that to get a deep lip, you need two things, a wide wheel and low offset (20s).

I never see Acuras (45-50 offset) with deep lips......but you always see BMW 5 series (20 offset) with deep lips, even on factory wheels. If you notice, even the A-Spec Concept 21" wheels on the TL did not have a wheel with a lip.

The other problem is that Acuras can only fit 8-9" wheels.

A 9"wheel ordinarly does not have more than a 2-3" lip unless its custom-made.

A 8" wheel ordinarly has a 2" lip max.

Lips start to look 'big' at about 2 1/2"+, and
b/t/w my lips are 3"front and 4" rear .
