A poll without a poll is not much of a poll, so I added the poll for you.

I had the hardest time deciding between the Progressive Spoke vs. Progressive TE's... I don't think you can go wrong with either one....

Hi Lokius,

I will email the pics to you, I don't think the moderators will let me post a nsx picture on the TL Forum....by the way I just got the silver ones since my car is black and they have not arrived yet....... from what I heard from macken I am the only set ordered so far (at least for the nsx).....i don't think blue rims will go on black but that's just my opinion.....pm me with your email and I will email it to you when I get them on...... still waiting on my volks for the TL too :p

This rim and the pro mag spokes are the top of the line volks currently. The top of the line volks before these were the volk 3's or evolution 3's. Can't wait to get them

I saw a G35 coupe today with Volk SF Challenge wheels (19s) . They looked sweet!!! Anyone know where the best place to get those wheels would be? I have a Silver 04 TL. Also what are the prices on those?

There are so many rim shops to check out......you can try importhookup.com, South Bay Acura and ask for kai in parts 310-539-3636, dazzmotorsports, wheelwarehouse, or just google and shop around. Another site you can use as reference is wheelsboutique.com based in Florida. They usually have the prices listed on volks. Good Luck.

Thanks Ediddy. By the way I had an interesting conversation with 3 emloyees at a Just Tires branch in LA. They all said it doesn't matter how expensive the wheels are, they've all seen them cracked or bent from potholes. In their opinions, the forged aluminums will crack or bend if hit hard enough just like regular cast wheels. What do you folks think about their statements.

Also, how heavy are the Volk SF Challenge? For about $600 per wheel, I'd hope they'd be stronger and lighter than the TL OEMS.

Garfield,

You are right that any rim can be damaged on any given day, I was just simply stating that those rims I mentioned are Volks current top of the line rims as in their marquee rims or flagship rims....the fact that they are magnesium is probably the main reason that they cost so much.......so basically the volk sf challenge would be like a 430 modena and the pro mag spoke and mesh rims are the enzo of the the group........and by the way the forged rims will be stronger in strength than regular cast wheels on any given day.......ask people who had racing harts and then ask people who had Volks.....I personally had the Volk evolution 3's which were the marquee rim back then for volk (then volk 3's a more modern looking version of evolution 3's) and they were on rubber band tires 215/35/18's at 18x8's and I never bent them hitting bumps or potholes fortunatley......also and as far being stronger and lighter it depends on which rims you get......they will be stronger for sure but lighter that depends like i said on which rims you choose......no matter what all volks are going to be lighter than most of all the rims you see out there.......good luck.....
