Rets where did you go for that price? seems like a good deal with the alignment and everything out the door.

Nero Zero M&S is a great tire rain or shine. Had mine for 10k miles and no problems.

I would agree that tramlining on grooved pavement can be an issue. I have never had a tire tramline as bad as these. Fortunately, grooved highways are not part of my daily commute and otherwise I am extremely pleased with these tires. However, if you regularly travel on grooved pavement, you might want to look elsewhere.

Can anyone personally compare these Pirelli PZero tires to the stock Michelin Pilot HX MXM4?

I live in Texas so I'm needing a good tire in very wet weather and very dry. No need for snow

^^ I don't think there's any difference in the performance, I just had to get use to riding on them. I upgrade from 17 OEM's to the 18"Apsec's (with Aspec Suspension and RSB) so there was a little different because less rubber. But I had these things on the wet highway yesterday I'm really impressed with them. The dry is very good as well, no noise. I got the M&S's.

I wonder how they'll handle when some snow, but I guess you don't have to worry about that.

Also Tirerack is giving these things away right now. TR was $165 for 18's and locally wanted $228.

FYI : vulcantires.com sells 235/45/17 PZero's for $126/tire + shipping. Discount Tire matched the price for me on my current set when I bought them (which are now bald)...

I got about 10k on my Pzero Nero M/S tires and so far they have been great. I went with the wider tires than what Acura recommends and with a bit taller sidewalls. I think the sidewalls make a big difference in the road noise and also I like the 245/40/18 have a 93 load rating vs the 91 load rating of most other tires. IMO you can't go wrong with these tires. No problems at all, TL owners should buy them first.

Minority Report

I'll be in the minority. I don't like the Pzero M&S as much.

I've had mine for 4,000 miles on my 6-speed. They've been driven through sun and light rain in warm CA weather. I can break the tires loose and chirp them in first gear in dry and wet conditions without trying. I think they should be well broken in now after 4000 miles.

It's a good bet they will last a lot longer than summer tires.
I'll see how they perform in winter weather during the next run to Tahoe.

I just got my new tires yesterday and already I can tell a difference! I also used the TireVan. They were better than you guys told me.

I just priced the PZero Nero in Vancouver (Canada) and they cost $310 per tire (235-40-18). Seems like quite a bit more than the tirerack price of US$159.

Any Canucks finding a better deal? Does Tirerack ship north?

Us Canucks are going to pay more regardless but $310 seems expensive. I see Tiretrends has them listed at C$230 for your size. Tiretrends is in Maple Ridge and I believe they do installs for us locals. Question is if they have it in stock.

I may be mistaken but are there two types of these tires, a M&S which is substantially cheaper than the summer only performance model?

Thanks pohljm. Sorry if I responded to Wyman with the wrong version of the tires. I was talking about the M&S tires, referring to the original message in this thread. I did not know they make PZero Nero summer tires in 17" or 18"?

Yes, I'm referring to the M+S all season. I got a price of $250 CDN at a dealer on Marine drive (but also $325 from another). Go figure.

It pays to shop around.
