Picking springs based on drop level?

When you guys are shopping for springs, do you judge them purely based on the drop? It looks like different vendors have different drop levels. Are some springs stiffer than others?

I just got rims mounted (225/45/18 tires on 18/7 +45 offset) and the gap doesn't look THAT big. I was considering the Eibach ProKits, but I'm concerned the drop in the front and back might be too much. The Comptechs aren't much more conservative, maybe by 1/4". Will the 1/4" really be that much of a difference or can I slide by with the Eibachs?

some are stiffer than other.....usually the larger the drop, the stiffer the spring. I judged on drop and other's experience with the same spring.

i got prokits and i think it looks good. elegant-tls/ray switched from the prokits to hnr sports.

you can check out my photos...we have the same year car and i let ray borrow my wheels (BORED photo album) so you can pretty much compare the springs.
