I think hub caps would better than the 06 rims, just do it.

You're joking right? The Enkei 04-06 stock wheels look a hell of a lot better than the 07-08 base wheels, which look like they are made out of plastic.

04-06 wheels > all other TL wheels.

I'm not really a fan of the Type-S wheels.

if 04-06 wheels were 18" they would be perfect. Clean silver 5 spoke, looks good on any color. and they look better then type-s ones IMO

+2. Clean, 5 spoke. Only wish like everyone else that they were 18" and 8.5" wide. Damn, I just really want the Gunmetal A-Specs!

why is the 8.5 width so sought after ... can't you put the same tire size on a 8 inch wheels?

its a rare wheel since acura only made a few sets in 2004, and as well the gunmetal finish on them is amazing

thats crazy talk man...crazy talk! of the three "stock" rims, the 04-06, in my opinion, are by far the best! the type-s style, by nature, look smaller than 17"...and the base 07+ look cheap and small too. i almost went 04-06 stockies for my winter tire but was able to find a close look-a-like from discount tire to fit my needs. but to each his own

OP, you crazy too...but thats cool

Sorry for not providing and helping with your request of type-s rims but in my opinion all the 3rd gen rims look good with a drop. It all comes down to personal preference. To me, i like the 04-06 base best. They actually look pretty big when dropped lol. I call the type-s rim the "waffle wheels" :P

Here's a pic of a wdp dropped on stockies.

Photo cred ( blackberryle84 )

btw, i like your avatar! i see my car in the picture. Its the 2nd car in the back with the fog lights on lol
