Painting rims?

I have a quick question, how do you get your wheels to look like the ones below, those are the same ones I have except mine are the dull gray color. Are the wheels in this picture powercoated or painted or what?

You don't paint rims to get a finish like that. Those look like chrome. You could also fully polish them to get a nice finish.

Those are def chrome.
Don't think it's really a DIY.

I would powder coat yours, or even just do it yourself matte black.

buy a set of chrome for the late spring, summer and fall months. then use the other set for the winter season. thats if you live in a snowy area like myself. also if you end up painting you rims get the brake calipers painted as well, 2 birds one expensive stone haha.

Check the 3G garage or do a search. Has several DIYs on how to paint your wheels. Nonetheless, if you want it chromed, you can either go to a local shop to have that done (if any), or do those trade-ins from eBay.

i know on ebay, there is a seller that has something where u send your oem wheels and u get chrome oems. if your looking to keep the wheels a long time, powdercoat them. painting will get chips in them eventually.
