Why would they be a problem?

Uh your in the 5th gen section (2015+ TLX) I would repost this in your 3rd generation section (2004-2008 TL).

There will be no problem at all, other than your speedometer being slightly off.

OP, there's 6.5% more sidewall on the 225 tires compared to the 235, so your ride quality will be more plush, but your steering feel may be dulled. When your speedo reads 60mph you will actually be going over 61. You can take that for what it's worth. It's not a huge difference and some people prefer that size. On a lowered car though, I would expect you'd want a smaller sidewall and not a larger one.
