Opinions on Konig rims
Konig seems to be the main company out there that consistently mass-produces the latest knockoff rims. Was just wondering what people thought of their rims, since they are considerably cheaper than the name-brand rims but look pretty close. With my financial situation, it's hard for me to justify spending so much money on rims, so I'm looking for some good quality knockoffs.

Some people criticize Konig's quality saying they're soft rims and bend easily. But if you look throughout this (and other) wheel forums, members are bending Racing Harts, SSR and other name brand wheels. Bottom line, any rim will bend and damage if driven thru pot-holes or road imperfections. You pay top dollar for the name brand product without a doubt. But if you can overlook the name, Konig does make some really nice wheels....

Im rollin on some 18" Konigs and I love them. As far as the quality goes, they are top notch. I checked out each wheel thoroughly and they were all visually perfect. I havent had any problems with them yet, even over rough roads. I got the Konig Imagine in 18X7.5 from America Tire Co.

I wouldn't call konig a knockoff company... they have some knockoffs in their wheel line, but they do have some original wheels. A full knockoff company is diablo or katana.

Seriously though, everyone I know who has ever had konigs say that they suck and they bend easily.
However I've had many different kinds of rims on my bimmer and they have all bent, it happens
I don't "drive" anymore, I just avoid potholes.
Here in NY they are everywhere. They put one just in front of my driveway for no reason. Spray painted the asphalt orange and dug a nice little rim bending hole, thanks guys.
Seriously though, go with what style you like, and what fits your budget...
