Opinion on Professionally painting 3g stock rims?

i was looking into painting my stock rims professionally until i buy new rims possibly next year after i save up money. i was interested in:
1) Dark Bronze
2) Light Bronze
3) Gold

I like stock wheels in silver the best. So I say stick with that. but if you really wanna paint them go with GOOOOOLD, you crazy datch bastard haha

I'm kind of interested in doing this as well. 04 TL wheels in gunmetal. Anyone have pictures of someone doing this?

I would keep it silver, until you get your new rims. Painting the wheels makes it look ricer. I thought about it, & searched the internet. Theres pics out there with painted wheels. Doesn't look too good.

yeah i looked at the link for that DIY but those were mainly done for a darker gunmetal or black. im trying to go different and paint them bronze almost like the TE37 bronze color..

There was a guy on here that had some 04 - 05 stock wheels that were painted flat black and looked ok. Painting the wheel Top Secret gold would be awesome only if the lip was polished. How about you post up how the colors would actually look and that way you'll get more feedback. Everyone's idea of a color are usually different from others.

If going through the effort of painting them. I say that TE37 bronze.

But I still don't think it's worth painting OEM wheels. I would just save towards your new shoes.
