OK, lasssssst time......
Due to complications, I was delayed in my wheel purchase. I'm going to be ordering them this week, hopefully to get them before the Park Ave meet.. I just painted my calipers(silver), Installed braided hoses, Cross-Drilled Rotors, Axxis Pads front and back(Thanks Tim and Autocarparts.com!).. My problem is this.
I originally was going to get the Mille Miglia Evo5's 17X7 with Michelin Pilot Sport 225/50/17. They are out of stock in that size tire, indefinite when they will be getting more. I spoke with Roman(ZodiakTL), who had Mille Miglia Actions, but 17x8, with 235/45/17. He said he has no real problems with rubbing. I think the 8 inch wide wheels by MM are a little different offset-wise, in which if I put a 235/45 tire on a 7 inch wide rim(with a 45 offset), I might rub, Roman thinks the 8 inch wide wheel is 47 offset. I am probably going to go with an 8 inch wide wheel, and a 235/45, because TireRack has the Pilot Sport A/S in 235/45. They show the Evo5's to only be available in 17x7, and now a new runner up, the HT3. They come in two ways, bright silver(tire rack only shows 17x7) or Light grey(17x7 or 17x8). I'm going to call tire rack to confirm if the offsets are different from 7 inch to 8 inch wide on the mille miglia line, also to find out if the offset on the action, evo5( i know are both 45 offset in 7 inch) is the same as the HT3. Confused yet? So am I! Which one should I go with?

I like the Evos the best out of what you've mentioned. But if it were me, I'd spend less on the tires and get more wheel. Those Michelins you mentioned are all sooooo pricey -- I believe all over $200 at the TireRack. I'd get BFGoodrich g-Force KDW or KDWS, Dunlop SP Sport 5000, or Yoko AVS dB or maybe one of the tires others have recommended. I think they're all about $75-$100 cheaper per tire but they're all still very good tires. I mention these all-season tires because you mentioned the Pilot A/S.
I had a set of Pilot XGTZ4 and absolutely loved them. They lasted 60000 miles and never need to be re-balanced. I replaced them with the KDWS because they were much cheaper and they no longer make the XGTZ4. The KDWS might be a tad louder than the Michelins were but I think they provide better wet traction. Dry traction is a toss-up. I never drive my TLS in the snow so I don't know about that.
If you go with the cheaper tires, then maybe you'd like the SSR GT1, OZ Anteres or BBS RK.
