OK... I've finally decided on what wheels i'm gonna get...

Axis Milano+

they came out with a 20" wheel for this year and I think it'll set off my WDP beautifully. (no 20" arguments... we've heard them all already.) I was orginally gonna go with a staggared setup with 20x9.5 in the back and 20x8.5 in the front, but it would cost way too much cash when tires needed changing (i'm gonna go for toyo proxies t1-r) so i've decided on 20x8.5 all around. (i don't think i could go 20x9.5 all around could i?) i'm planning on going with 255/35/20 size tires.

my question is the offset is estimate at 35-40 on the axis website with a lip of 2.25

i plan on lowering the car on tein SS hopefully around 1.25-1.5 inches all around

I know i'll probably have to roll the fenders but what i don't want is a lot of camber.

what do you guys think? is it doable?

thanks for all the help and Ideas from everyone on the Board!!!

-sequoia

PS it's an automatic.

If your going to lower it I'd go with a smaller tire, and your pretty safe with those offsets.

don't take this personal but you wanted to know what others thought of them. not a fan of fake rivets on wheels or axis wheels for that matter. i've always fixed up my cars with the best quality possible and although it is expensive it's well worth it having a peace of mind. especially when i have my family and friends in my car going on a trip. i truly hope these wheels work out for you if you decide to get them. my friend hit a pothole with 20" axis wheels on his maxima and the rim just broke in half. he was lucky there was heavy traffic on the hwy and only hit the pot hole doing 40 mph. nobody was hurt but quickly put the stockers back on as soon as he got back.

when you say smaller tire do you mean going with a 19" wheel or a 30 series tire?

and I know axis aren't the best. but I can't fathom spending the kind of money I'd like to spend on HRE's or Iforged. I just don't have that tipe of disposable income. But thanks for the opinion!

Don't take this wrong but that could happen with any wheel. Axis has been around forever and I have many friends that used to sport them on their whips. I have also had friends crack volks and advans. Usually a cast wheel like Axis will bend unlike a forged wheel like Volk which will crack. Not saying that a cast wheel wont crack because I have seen that as well.

I have hit some pretty nasty potholes in my time as well and I cracked a factory steelie back in '97 on my brand new Civic. I was going approx. 45-50 mph at the time. Yet I hit a pothole in a Rota and just bent it. Those same wheels took an ice ride into a curb and bent them in no BS about an inch and a half. I was able to limp home on them though. Not a good idea to roll on Potenza S03 summer tires in the winter time.

I'm guessing he means a 245/30 (correct size) or 245/35 (most members use) tire.

By the way, great choice on rims...the Milano's look great! I've only seen these in 19's, so I'm looking forward to seeing the 20's.

Do it, But I would suggest running 245/35 and run a 40 offset you should be good with a drop I looked at ron jon wheels and there 20's have a 20 offset and that vehicle was pretty low. i have been looking for wheels alos fo rteh WDP and I think the Milano will give it a clean look. Do it do it now.lol and send me pics when you get them on. What prices have you've been getting quoted?

Do a 245/35/20 all around and when you lower it get the alignment done also. You will need to roll your fenders in the back atleast. Axis Milanos are nice ass wheels

Oh I found a rim that is real similar to the miliano which people have been saying that axis don't make them anymore that a new company makes them and they are called jaz trinity.

damn that looks good They look like 20's what springs do you have and is there any rubbing and what offset is the rim? Oh what size tires are you running? You pretty much sold me on the wheels but just need to know the specs before I stick to it.

No stay with the 20's just get an 30 series tire.

Thanks..!!! Here are the details:

19x8.5 35mm offset all around with Falken GRB FK-451 235/35/19 tires. Riding on TEIN Basic coilovers lowered 2.25inches. No finger gap and tires are tucked under the fender nicely. No rubbing issue and even with the car riding with 5 people in it. But go with 20's. That would look even hotter. So far I have yet to see 20's on a TL!! But that would look really sweet. Just to let you know they come in black finish with polish lip too. I think the black finish will look sick.
