Offset question ( yes I did a search )

I did a search on offsets but they are all for rims 18's and up. I just going for some 17"s considering I live in brooklyn ( pot hole heaven ) I want a good offset cause I dont want any rubbing going on ( unless it's on me

)

+45 and up would be good. I had +48 on 17's before and it didn't rub.

offset relates to width so the specs apply to all diameters. you say you want 17s, what width?
