Question Offset and tire sizes

I just got a set of 17"x7" wheels with +42mm offset for my 99tl. Would anyone have any suggestions on tire size for this offset? I am planning to put on set of 235/45/17 Bridgestone RE750. Would they rub? Should I use 215/50/17 tires instead? Anyone have any comments on Bridgestone RE750, RE950 and expedia S-01 tires?
Thanks,

215's would be the safe bet. 225's may rub, and you'll need to trim the bumper tab. What kind of wheels did you get?

i got a set of Tenzo Passion 5 wheel. What is the recommanded offset and width for the 235/45R17? What should be the correct tire pressure for 215/50 and the 235/45?
Thanks,

17x7.5" +49 offset would do. Check on the sidwall for proper inflation amounts as specs differ from one manufacturer to another
