OEM Wheel Specs

Will the 2007 TL OEM 17" fit a 2005 TL?
What is the wheel width, diameter, offset and hub hole diameter of the 2007 TL stock wheel?

Thumbs up

Thanks! I just picked up a set of 07 stock rims to put on my 05. Now the question: Which tires should I put on them? I have read "Inacurrates" thread on 255/40's, it's got me thinking.

Again, thanks for your help.

There might be a difference between the 04-06 and the 07-08 wheels. Remember that the 07-08 TL's (except TL-S) does not come with brembo brake system, so they might not be as wide. IMO, those wheels look smaller than the 04-06.

I posed the question to the Service Manager at a local Acura dealer and his response was,"according to our information the wheel specs are the same."

All wheel specs for the 3G TL are the same, save the ASPEC wheels (18X8.5 in 04 and 18X8 for 05+); any 3G wheel will fit on any 3G. 06+ wheels are TPMS compatible.

on 17" wheels you have so many different sizes you could run

1 - 245/40 17 <- I would go with
2 - 255/45 17
3 - 235/45 17
4 - 235/40 17
5 - 245/45 17

What about 255/40 x 17's?
You are right...to many options.

So that means that my 2004 base TL OEM wheels (winter set) will not fit the latest TL models with TPMS?

^They will fit, but as is, the TPMS won't work; you'll have to get TPMS sensors and mount them on the 04-05 wheels.

OK. Good. I thought you meant that TPMS sensors could not be mounted on 04/05 wheels. I guess they can, it's just that sensors didn't come with the wheels in 04/05.
