Nitto NT555 or Toyo Proxes 4?
I'm getting new 19" rims and i'm trying to figure out what tires to buy. Does anyone have any experience with either of these tires? I live out in cali and i want something that has good treadwear and good performance as well. Any feedback or recommendations are appreciated. Thanks.

I have just the standard 555's and they've been pretty good thus far. Can't comment on the mileage since I don't remember when I slapped them on, but remember telling myself that tread life has been good.
Not the best tire to have when it's raining though, but hold pretty good during the summer. I'm actually going to order a pair of the proxes4 since my rear nitto's are starting to thin out and will then relocate the toyo's up front to see if there's any noticable difference (handling wet/dry, road noise, etc.).
BTW, I'm currently on 245/35/19's

I've had both tires the Nitto's will lasted me about 30k miles, The proxes lasted me about 15k miles. The Proxes would stick better to the dry pavement, they were a better performace tire but you pay for it in with a short tire life. The nittos were not far behind the proxes in performace but enough to notice the differance.
I would say NITTO is a better Value
and Toyo is a better performance tire
