ninja indians did this
Went on a nice little road trip to phoenix last week and on my way there right around Flagstaff something shot into my rim and gouged them. There was no one in front of us so it wasn't kicked up. Anyways I have no idea what did it but it went in a perfect path and didn't bounce off after the first hit.
does anyone know if something like this can be fixed? If so what do you think the est. cost would be. Or would it be best to replace it? Also if they can fix it will it look the same?

What kind of wheel is it? The reason I ask is that it can probably be fixed but depending on how expensive the wheel is it might actually be cheaper to just buy a new one. You live in Denver, right? Contact Spec Wheels of America. We do a lot of business with them at Discount Tire. They're good people. If they can't fix it nobody can.

The one in Littleton on Wadsworth. It's probably going to be more cost effective for you to buy another wheel if they're Drag wheels. You're probably looking at around $200 to fix and re-face that wheel. I can at the very least hook you up with free installation if you want to come see me.

Whoa, that is one hell of scratch you got there. are you sure you didn't side swip a rock with the rim? I have seen this before, my friend didn't see this rock in the middle of the road, tried to avoid at the last minute, but dent the Rim. it was a 3 piece wheel, so he just replaced the rim, pretty cheap only $350 compared to buying a new wheel which was $760 a pop. I suggest you look at how much it would cost you to fix it VS. cost of just buying another wheel. Most of the time, it will cost WAY more to fix a 1 piece wheel than just buying another one.
