New Wheels
My OEM wheels had been curbed a number of times giving them a taxi cab look. My teenage children and wife always look at me wide-eyed and surprised and respond with "what?". Anyways $195 Cdn for new (refurbished wheels). Get new ones, send the old ones back. They look brand new. Bought 2 of them for now.

Unless you need a secret handshake to get in, your thread was lacking certain specific information which would enable Torontonians to take advantage of your serendipitous find.
It is ok to mention a specific business in cases like this, as long as you don't have a personal connection to it.

I'm too lazy to look up the exchange rate, but here in the Midwest we have several companies who will refurbish your wheel for $50-100 and make it look like brand new.
$195 even in Canadian sounds steep to me.

Its about $162 US. You should have seen my rims - bad shape. Bascially you get new looking rims in a box and you just return yours, regardless of conditon. So for minor dings likely not worth it. For a major re-do, its cheaper than a new one.

CHROME wheels
I like the look of the stock TL wheels and am thinking of a set of them that have been chromed. I was wondering if anyone has tried any of the vendors that do this? Results?
I've seen some advertisements on ebay (buy their wheels, replace, send yours back - quite similar to what the original poster did).
Thoughts? Success stories? Horror stories?
Thanks.
