New TPMS sensors for 3rd Gen TL
I installed these today on a 2nd set of wheels and they work. They sync up automatically within just 45 minutes of driving.. I turned the car on and of about 3 times going to store and car wash and home. I do not know what kind of battery it is though. Lithium lasts longer than Lithium Ion... Which is sort of important for internal TPMS sensors. Hopefully they last a while

Feel free to let us know which sensors have the best batteries., best quality, and work on these cars. I'm for it

I tried to change the battery in OEM sensor and I managed to do. It even responded to TPMS tester and work for a few days. Now I am waiting to take off my winter wheels and take a look whether the TPMS sensor stopped to work again due to the battery I used (slightly different then OEM) or significant centrifugal forces during movement (causing soldering to fell apart).

Strange. After washing the car the tpms started to work.
So I can state that it is possible to successfully change the battery with medium effort and som skills in drilling and soldering.
Will post here some pictures how to do it here when have some free time.

Not sure if anybody needs it.
Since Acura took care about customers to offer TPMSs that couldn't be disassembled there is an effort required to disassemble it.
1. Tools and materials
Soldering iron, ironing acid and electric purposes silicone.
2. Scratch off the silicone to get to the soldering points
3. From the other side, cut off the part of the casing covering the battery
4. Scratch off the silicone again
5. Solder out old battery
6. Scratch out the remaining layer of silicone to make place for new silicone.
7. Prepare new battery. Move the fixing plates (the acid is helpful here). I used standard battery instead if automotive version, that was much more expensive and if used it would be unprofitable.
8. Solder in new battery. Use electric purposes silicon to stabilize the battery. The silicone is self leveling.
9. Reassemble the cutter part of casing with silicone
DONE. Almost zero waste.
It works as I mentioned.
This summer I'm going to repair the second one.
