New Tires needed
My '05 TL has 20K miles and I need to replace my OEM Michelins Pilot MX MXM4 tires. Any recommendations? I am looking for something that will give me longer wear and a smooth ride.

Did you rotate your tires every 6 thousand miles? You should have gotten at least 30k out of the Michelins. You can try the Yokohama Avid V4S. This is one of the only performance tires that actually makes a mileage expectation of 60K. They are VERY resonably priced as well. You should be able to get these at around $140.00 each installed.
It is very important to rotate your tires to get the most life out of them.

Typical replacements recommended by our readers include:
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S (long wearing but EXPENSIVE)
Pirelli Pzero Nero M&S (quiet and long-wearing, reasonably priced)
Falken ZIEX ZE512 (cheap, stick like glue, a bit noisy after 10k miles--I had these on my TL)
Kumho Ecsta ASX (cheap, stick like glue, quiet, I had these in 18" size on my TL)
Toyo Proxes 4
Hope that gets you started and you can search for threads describing the experience.
