on tire-size-conversion say at 70 reading is 70.3??
Both show new tire taller by ~ .5" or 13mm.
So is what I see on speedo really faster or slower than I'm going.
I realize I can't tell half mile per hour diff, but what is it?

My question is Which is right.....I ran 2 different calculators and got 2 different speedo readings!

So 1010 show actual of 62.14 then new tire 62.54.
SO now 2 sites say what i see on speedo is actually 1/2mph slower than I am actually going. Does this sound correct for a new taller tire. Speedo reads slower than actually going?
But you know, it doesn't matter. There's like a 0.65% difference between both. You'd see 60mph on your speed you're actually be going 59.61mph... 150mph? 149.025mph haha

I know, but just trying to wrap my head around this in layman terms.
If the overall wheel & tire diameter is bigger than original, at the same number of revolutions you will travel more distance, therefore your speedometer will show a certain number (calculated at number of revolutions) but you will be travelling more distance therefore FASTER. This is exactly the opposite of my previous 2 posts and also justn post.

larger = x+ or x- in general
That is exact. Disregard my previous posts. Somehow messed up my logic here.

Yes that's once again exact. Sorry for all the confusion!
In your example though it does not matter at all since the variation is not even 1%.
