New Rotors

Ok, I didn't think I would hasve this much trouble buying new brake discs but I am. I purchased new hawk pad for my 05-TL-6MT from Tire Rack. I also ordered new front Centric discs from Auto Parts Warehouse. The disc they delivered were too small and it seems like they can't get them in the correct diameter. No problem, so I'll order from somewhere else except I am having trouble finding them unless I spend $500. I was hoping to keep my budget below $250. I even searched Acurazine but didn't find much help. Any help would be much appreciated.

Currenly you can't get any of the high performace rotors from Rotora or Racing Brake since you have the 6spd MT. Mr Heeltoe is supposed to have the Racing Brake rotors very soon though, if you want to wait. I am waiting for them to come in to replace mine on my 05 6 spd. The Rotoras according to Excellerate will not be in until later this summer

hope this helps

I was struggling to find (the right size) rotors for my 6MT and everyone had lots of good suggestions (Racing Brake, Excelerate, etc.) but none carrried the correct ddiameter (except for Racing Brake) and they were $300 each! Too much for my budget. I do drive spiritedly, but not that much. I've got about a month (maybe 2) left on my pads. So I might just get my old rotors turned and reuse them with the new Hawk pads. Is this bad idea?

As long as your current rotors will turn and still be in spec- go for it
Do it now before they get too worn.
Most Acuras get one resurface then next time its new everything
Considering how we drive these car----not bad

Turn em and slip in a set of Hawk HPS and you will have plenty of stopping power
