New here with a couple of questions...

Hey all...I'll keep this as short as possible.... new here and recently picked up 08 NBP A/T TL-S with 11k miles. Came with ground effects kit already installed and I added A-spec rims (platinum)and Mich. PS2's(245/40/18's)...had an 06 base TL prior and all I can say is wow, what a difference! Anyway, just bought the A-spec suspension for M/T Type-S, thanks to the suggestions on this board, and also the Progress RSB, which I plan to set on street per the suggestion of the guys at Progress, since I live in N.Y. Question is do I get the dealer to install or have an independent do the work...Leaning toward dealer because they've done so many and also based on Springfield Acura's service reviews on dealerrater.com. Any thoughts? and will dealer care if i'm putting a M/T kit on a A/T car?

take one of the how tos and do it yourself. Stay away from the stealership. If anything find a independent place to do it.

thought that may be the feeling here....shame that dealers don't take more pride in their work....quality of work more important to me than cost...thanks for the response.

well if cost isnt an issue then go ahead and take it to the dealer but you will probably have to pay 300-500 bucks for just a suspension install. I mean suspension install isnt really rocket science and have a major difference in quality of work like something to do with the engine to be honest.

point taken, i have some warranty work i need dealer to take care of(the tighten gas cap problem well documented here, and DRL lights intermittently working) so I thought i'd just have them do everything at once. thanks again.
