Need some help!!
Hey guys, I've got a set of 17" Volk TE-37's for my Integra and I've been thinking about having them machined/polished. I'm not to crazy about just plain silver, and chrome...not on the Integra!! I love the machine finished look, but I have no clue if there are shops that will do this or how much it will cost, but I would love to find out. I was thinking about doing this before I even got the wheels and since then, I've found a pic of a guy with an NSX who actually did this with the same set of wheels. Any info that anyone can give me would be highly appreciated!!! And if anyone knows who owns this car, I would love to talk to him. I can't remember the name of the NSX forum that the pic came from...I'm a moron, I know!!
Well I found the guy who owns this car, but I haven't talked with him yet. He was on NSXprime...that's what I couldn't remeber. Anyway, if any of you guys got any info you could give me, I'd still appreciate it!!
are you talking about machining the entire rim or just the lip so you there is some silver left (a la the special edition te37s). most wheel repair shops can machining the rims for you and/or rims shops can also contract that work out easier than you trying to find a shop...either way, check the phone book.
Yeah, that's probably what I'll do. I just didn't know how difficult it would be to do, or if it is even something that's worth doing. I don't want my wheels messed up or anything, but I would love to have it done. I'm talking about machining the entire rim, not just the lip.
