Need Opinions Quick!!!!

OK, So I bent two of my rims, and I am thinking about getting the Privat Netz, now that they are offered in the Forge Grey. After doing a quick PS, I can't decide between the Forge Grey or the Silver (a la Aznbo and other)

Please Help!!!

Here are the picture, Current, Forge Grey, Silver. Keep in mind, this is a PS, and the car will be lowered eventually, hopefully this summer as well!

Thanks!

so, two grey, one silver!

The only thing with the silver is that I dont want to shamelessly rip off Aznboy's car! Granted it's hot as hell, I dont want to be his twin....I dont know!

OK, I think I'm gonna go grey. I almost have my current wheels sold already, so if it goes through, I will get the grey ones!

Grey, silver/chrome is too bright, but not bad. Grey looks more classy.

After I looked again, the grey is kind of dull. It would be nice if they were clear coated. Hard choice to make. Silver is TOO flashy, and grey is TOO flat.

How did you bend 2 wheels?

I say get the real forged rims in mesh, not some pretty face rims with a name Forge Grey. I know they are cool, cheap and all but you'll eventually bend these as well if you are not extra careful. Then for the money you spent on all these rims you could have bought a set of some nice strong rims instead. Go for the real thing if your area has bad roads,so that your rims last. I learned that lesson the hard way!

On a different note, you are quite a salesman, your bent rims are almost sold eh? Nice, I wish I could do that! Good luck!

Well, here is the deal, I bent two of the rims in chicago yesterday on a massive pothole. After getting back to cheese country, I took it to my local firestone where I had the tires mounted and they were able to balance the wheels out to 0, and just now I had a run with my buddy's 9-5 aero on the freeway, at 115 there was no shake or shimmy, so they still have use.

Tire Rack no longer carries these, but he does have two in stock that he would sell me at a discount. Either way, buying the two others or selling mine and getting the Netz's, it is a difference of $50.

I am hopefully getting them from JLB as I spoke with them on the phone today.

As for the color choice, I kind of like the matte grey finish. As some said, the silver is too flashy for my taste as I want the car to still look sporty. I will be blacking out the headlights, smoked rear sides and smoked tails. Aznbo has everything cleared, and no more tint, so the silver flows well with his car. I dont mind the matte grey also because they will require less effort in cleaning. The car will be lowered on Tein Basics hopefully this summer as well if ther budget provides. Now that I am done with school forever (until I go back for my MBA) i am working full time and income is essentially doubled, so that's a plus as well!!

As for rim strength, I think any wheel would have bent with the size of this crater that I hit in chicago. I contacted their DOT and they are sending me paperwork to file a claim for vehicle damage, so I may actually be reimbursed for the cost of the two bent wheels as well.

Thanks for the help, and keep the opinions coming. I still have not decided, but I am leaning twoards the grey.

What happened to being original. Seems like everyone is trying to look like the next guy. I guess there is nothing wrong with that but originality sets you apart. YOU must be able to decide what YOU want because in the end you are the one that is putting up the MONEY. BTW I got some GTMs but ran into some problems and have not had the funds for my suspension and tires. I already saw or heard of three TLs' with GT-s hopefully no one gets GTMs installed before me.

That's why I am leaning towards the Grey. Everyone has the silver right now.....

I am not trying to look like the next guy, but I have a budget, especially since I was not planning on wheels, this just happened because of my two bent ASA's.
