Need info from the staggered guys!

I've been going back and forth about doing a staggered fit on my 08 TL-s 6spd. I heard different stories about lowering issues and handling. I need the opinions of guys who actually drive on staggered set-ups. I've also had trouble trying to determine the best offset for my car to give me the look i want. I want a wider stance with the ability to still tuck with the coilover suspension. I almost at the point of just going 19x9 with a +38 or +40 offset all around. Help me if you can!

19x9 is a dangerous set up considering the fact that not a lot of people did this. However, i'd recommend doing this ONLY if you can test fit em on your car. However, i'd go with 19x8.5 with an offset that'll fit. just to let you know, you'll never have that tucked in stance with 19 inch rims with certain styles because you're going to need a really low offset. By doing this, you'll have to roll your fenders, flare them out, blah blah blah. even after all this, you can't get a tucked look.

get whatever rims that fit in the front, and get a 19x10 +38 in the rear. you'll then have a staggered set up

my next set is 18x9 +30 offset with 225s or 215s in the front. i'm doing this for a more aggressive stance with a lower drop. hopefully, it'll look good. guaranteed these will fit the Type-S too .. or any 350Z or G35s.. lol

19x10 sounds cool, but I think it would kill the handling. I don't really know because I'm new to this. I drive my car aggressively on back roads. I love the corners!

Why stagger the wheels on a front wheel drive car?

Judging from some of the pics in the gallery, it looks good. Like said I'm not sure which way to go. I might just try the 19x9's all the way around.
