Need help w/ rims

Hey guys I am relatively new to the forum. I am looking for a nice pair of rims for my 06 TL. I don't want chrome, and i want them to be flashy but classy if you know what I mean. I love split spoke wheels. The Ron Jon's aren't doing it for me? Any suggestions? I would appreciate any input. I am leaning towards ace Manta wheels.

Hey timmy,

Welcome to AZ. You are asking a question that is very hard to answer. There are SO SO SO many split-spoke wheels out there. There's 5 split-spokes, 7 split-spokes, 10 split-spokes...Here is a pic of some 7 split-spoke Work Varianza T1S's:

I am currently running the same setup. These are probably some the classiest wheels you can find.

Ill spend about 3k on rims w/tires, most likely no more than that. I love those rims above. I would prefer a 5 split spoke. Good recommendation. Sorry if Im pissing someone off, im new to this.

No worries, timmy. You're not getting anyone upset. It's just hard to narrow down such a broad area. But now that you've specified you like the 5 split-spoke look, how about this: http://sevaswheels.com/s_55.html

Those are the Sevas S-55's. Those look nice as well. Hope this helps!

The price depends on what size wheels you want. Mine are 19"x8.5". I say if you can get a set in that size for around/under $1,800, then that is a good price!

Sorry timmy, I was greatly lowballing the T1S's. They're going to run you between $2,300-$2,600 in 19"x8.5", shipped, w/ lugs, hub rings, center caps. I just happened to get mine for a clearance price, so that's why I was a bit off on the price!

Disappointing, but nonetheless $2.1K is a good deal. If you ordered today...you're looking at 8-10 weeks shipping time. If you wait too much longer, you might have to wait even longer for the next shipment...who knows how long that'll be?
