I've been dealing with an outside dealer who is going thru tirerack to get the wheels I want. Well basically they are quoting him specs on the older TL, not an 'O4. Well basically they are asking if I know anyone with a 04 TL in the Indiana area. I can find out exactly where... I'm looking at getting the SSR GT3's with the satin finish: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Displ...2FMachined+Lip. I want 19's but they keep saying that they won't fit. I've given them the specs and the off set but they want to test fit a car before they sell them. If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it. They said there is no cost. Thanks.

ask him what are the specs in the chart for the 19s...ie, width and offset combos...so we can mull them over too. i normally try to get tirerack to give me this info but they prefer to tell me yes or no instead on the fit.

considering you have an 04, 8.5 width with a 45ish offset should work. i don't think diameter plays too much if the new tire and rim combo can get to the same overall diameter as the stock setup.

 

I just talked with another rep over at Tire Rack and he confirms that they had an 04 in there and non of the SSR GT3's fit. He is quite adament(sp?) about it..

 

I just find that hard to believe because I just recieved a catalog from Tirerack and it has a Mitsu Lance Evo with them on it. Also the TL they tested... was it a 6sp or AT? Because the 6sp has the Brembo's on it...which would probably require spacers. This is just frustrating.:smackhead .. Those wheels would look so clean on my car.....Well I'm still hoping......
