Need help with tire specs

Hi. I'm in the market for new tires and have narrowed it down to the Continental Pure Contact and the Pirelli Cinturato P7 A/S. I have done a bit of research and the OEM tire was 235/45/17 93W. The Contis are 94H, which is a higher load index (weight), but a lower speed rating. W is rated at 168 miles per hour and H is rated at 130 mph. The Pirellis are 97H, so the issue is essentially the same. My understanding is that the speed rating signifies the top speed the tire can travel safely for a set amount of time, which I believe is 5 minutes. If my understanding is correct then there is really no issue here since I will never take the car up to 130 mph, never mind for an extended amount of time. Is there anything for me to worry about with an H rated tire? I think not, but I wanted some feedback before I make the purchase. Thanks!

Conti Extreme Contacts are a popular tire, with great ratings... Have you checked these?
not sure about the Pure Contacts...

I'm getting new tires in October, and I'm pretty sure i'm going with the Extremes

No you are fine with H rated tire.

We have the Pure Contacts on my wife's ES350 and the Extreme Contacts on my daughter's Accord. We don't have tons of miles on either set but so far have been happy with both. They are, however, in different tire categories.

I want a Grand Touring tire as my OE replacement. I have the Bridgestone Potenza RE030s on now and the ride is waaay to harsh for my liking. Time to think about my back and suspension. I am also thinking about the Bridgestone Serenity Plus, but that's it.
