Need Help. 20x8.5 +38 offset, spacers needed??
Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum, and 1st post I believe.. just purchased my 2006 TL 6spd after my 04 RX-8 got flood damaged and eventually junked by my insurance. I searched around to get some info on wheels, potential rubbing if I got 20s, looks like i might need some spacers if I got the Privat Netz 20x8.5 at +38 offset. But how do I know for sure? Any advice would be appreciated. I really did look around and did the offset calculator and everything but would like to hear if anyone had some real experience. thanks in advance..

First concern would be the brembo caliper clearance with those wheels and the that offset.
Potential rubbing with 20's? Depends on the size of tires you're looking to install and whether or not you have the aspec body kit installed. It might rub on the top mounting point in the rear wheel-well. If you're planning on dropping the car and driving with a few people in the car, you're definitely going to need to roll your rear fenders and install the comtech rear sway bar 'cause if you don't it's going to rub in sharp turns and deep depression in the road... I might be wrong... just my
