Need advice!!! Don’t want to buy the wrong tire size

I want to get new rims for my black 2008 Acura TL type S.

I want my car to look beefy but with the wheels flush so it has a more sporty stance.

Question is can 245/40/19x9.5 +22 or 40 fit without rubbing?

its been two years and I keep getting nervous to get any wheels cause I don’t want the speedometer to be off or rims cracking or my car getting slower or worst of all that it doesn’t fit and will not stop rubbing.

so I just want to get everything right.

I attached images to give an idea of how I would like my car to look.

all advices are welcome and app

This is the look I want from the back

I want like a middle finger space from the wheel and the fender.

This is the stance I would want.

I was thinking a wheel like this or a silver one.

Remember, aftermarket wheels and their specs will never be plug and play. You will always have to play with some kind of variable....meaning if the setup you want rubs, find where it rubs and then modify the car.
if the fender is eating the tire, roll fender.
If wheel isn't flush, lower or adjust camber, or both.
etc, etc, etc.

There's always something you have to do to get your desired look

Those cars you posted are heavily modified! It took work to make them look like that. Lowering, camber, tire size, fender play are just some of the variables that they played with

I am running 18x9.5 +22 with a 265/40?/18
To get it to fit, I played with fenders and lowered to make it look the way I want it, which you will too. It's not just simply slapping on a set of wheels. It's constantly playing with different variables to make it just right

Paralysis analysis

Mad respect for your insight.

tbh I thought it would be a plug and play thing base on what some people said in the post.

honestly I’m ima limited budget but I really want to make my car feel like my own.

Isn’t your tire spec way too rub? How is it not rubbing?

doesn’t it affect your Speedo?

I’m really sorry for the novice question but I don’t know the first about this so it’s a journey for me to learn so I can one day be able to direct someone in the right direction.

the thing with camber is I don’t want unable wear on my tires and I want to be able to rotate it.

I was thinking if I got 19s then it would fill up my wheel arch and I wouldn’t have to lower it.

I don’t want to lower it and compromise my ride quality know a mean cause it seems like for you to get a quality suspension you have to fork out unless 1200k.

I really don’t want to seem stupid but I love cars and I started to do little stuff with my car but i just don’t want to damage anything since this is my only car.

idk I just want to do this thing right so I don’t get in a predicament with wheels that don’t fit and money going to the trash.

I get watching videos etch but I feel like I’m just stuff analyzing things and can’t make the move.
