NE Ohio "Good" wheel/tire dealer

I have a 6 speed 04 TL that has vibration problem. I'm getting no where with ACURA or my dealer.

I'm looking for good place that knows tires/wheels that I can have balance check by tires/wheels.

I feel I will give it one more check before I trade this car.

I like the car but the vibration is driving me nuts.

Does anyone have any recomendations?

Is there a discount tire near where you are?

Try searching the yellow pages. Search for shops that only do tires, wheels, alignments, balance. Call each place up and talk to them.

Call Motomotion in Medina. They are a wheel refinishing shop but they may be able to help you. Are you sure it's the wheels and tires that are causing the vibration. There are tons of threads about the "vibration issues" be it tires, the transmission/torque converter, exhaust resonance, or something else.

You might also ask when the last time was that their balancing machine was calibrated. That makes a big difference and should be done every few months or so.

Good luck with your vibration problem. I had a very slight one but it seems to have subsided. It's sometimes barely noticeable in the mornings when the car is cold. When warmed, its not a problem. I do not like the enging lugging at 50 mph in 5th gear (5AT) but live with it or accellerate to shift down to 4th.

Tires were balanced at two different Acura Dealers. Last time balanced on a Hunter Road Force.

dealers here suck ... usually go to park but if their prices are too high i take it to motorcars. Anywho I decided to order tires from edge racing (www.edgeracing.com). Got the pirelli pzero nero M+S. Car feels totally different. Great upgrade imo. Edge's prices beat tirerack.com and anone else's even with shipping! check em out!

also you could consider doing a lemon law suit against acura if you have taken it in many times and it continues to give you trouble. Many posts on the board about that one. I'll leave it to you to search them out.
