My new wheels just arrived

I just got these today

They are 19"x8"

On a seperate note Versus Motorsport screwed me with their carbon fiber hood. I ordered one on November 30th and paid for it in full with a certified check. Last week they told me it was shipping. This week I called to see if I was lost in the mail and then they told me that they haven't even built it yet. They had to redesign something. I have now cancelled the order, hopefully I will get my $$ back soon. I am going to wait for VIS to finish thier version. VIS is worth the wait now, thier quality is over the top.

Don't know VIS? What's their site? Do they have an A-spec front end cover designed? I'm getting a few rock stikes after only 1800 miles and 6 weeks of ownership

visracing.com for VIS; wheels are iForged Swift in gunmetal. It matches the anthracite almost perfectly. Thanks for the feedback

Ohhh....good call with the Iforged...many of my friends have those wheels and they are great. They take a while to get made, but always look really nice. I hate all the people on these boards getting these cheezy, cheap wheels on their car just trying to look cool. When you spend a bit more $$, the difference is huge.

BTW, if anyone in so-cal ever needs IForged, I might be able to help.

iforged, hre, and DPE are all made in the same forging chamber, supposedly the quality should be equal between the three. However, I would grab a set of DPE's, for like $700 a wheel over the $1000 cost of an HRE or iforged wheel...

Cant wait to see the wheels on your car man!

Some people do not need to spend 15% of the cost of the car on the wheels. I know that I won't be getting the cheapest wheels out there, but I'm not going to go crazy. It's a waste of money to me, one set is as good as another (within reason) when all you want is to change the look a little.

No one said you need to spend $5K on wheels...my only point is that if you are going to invest any money at all, they should at least be attractive, quality wheels. $5K may be a bit much to spend, but someone buying $1K 17" wheels just to have rims is a waste.

Not sure of the offset. iForged custom made them with the specs I gave them. The wheel lip is from the rear wheels. I had them build them slightly staggered becuase I have the Brembos in the front. The front wheel only have 1/2" lip, the rears are closer to a 2" lip. I ordered them thourgh the shop I work at in Balitmore, Auto & Truck Outfitters. I got a good deal on them this way. I think they would normally go for $2,800 a set. I was going to go with BBS but they didn't have any 19" wheels that would clear, only 18"s. I really like the mesh style though, so iForged it was.
