mounted & balanced...
just a quick question...if the site says the wheels come mounted and balanced...does that mean all i have to do is take my old wheels off and put my new wheels on?? do i have to do anything else???
under normal circumstances, yes all you have to do is remove your old wheel/tire & put on the new set. some wheels require a spacer if the hub & wheel don't match up perfectly. that'll be visible upon installing the wheel, or if you get a vibration at freeway speeds.

dc121,
I put in a new set myself and using those spacers you talked about. These are the big plastic rings right. I can't see any different with or without those spacers when I changing the wheels, so I put them in. But my steering wheel has a little vibration from around 75mph to 85mph. Also, my steering feels kinda light. I use the new Yokohama Parada tires. Do you know why? Should I take those spacer out. What do you think I need to do to solve the vibrations?
The technician where I bought the package from told me that the vibration doesn't damage anything on the car. To make the vibration go away, I need to rebalanced my wheels by putting weights on outside of the wheels, which won't look good. They also told me that they only balanced the wheels up to 70 mph.
Thanks in advance.
