Michelin X-ice Xi2..installed and ready for snow
So as you can see, i decided to go with the Michelin X-ice Xi2 for my winters. I decided to go stock 17" size with the cheapest tirerack rim that looked decent, which i know was probably not the wisest snow tire decision, but i am alright with that. The past few days we have gotten like 5-10 inches of very heavy snow, but unfortunately for me, by the time I installed everything the snow was either melted or plowed. I even missed work in order to shovel the mass amounts of snow and install these wheels, but that just means i will be prepared the next time it dumps on me. I did take it for a spin down some the slushy dirt roads around my house and they performed very well. They stopped with little hesitation and i attempted to drive through every snow pile i could find and they gripped really really well. I dont have much to say at this point but i hope i report back in a couple hundred miles with some good reviews. I also want to thank TLAwesome who recommended these to me
