LOL at Tein's being super overrated...I don't think the how low decafe had it is a representation of the type of lowering a typical aziner would be going for. Personally, not a fan of a car that low...and "dailying" should not be abuse on the car.

Tein's being overrated because they are called the "best", I agree...that's subjective...but providing a HARSH ride, that's a joke of a comment. I've had other coils on previous cars and no car I've had can match being able to be 3 inches lowered (or more) and still ride like stock. Sorry.
Yeah I agree. I think the review is a little exaggerated but I do believe the BC coilovers may be better than the Teins SS. By no means is the Tein SS overrated. Probably more comparable to the Teins Flex. If I read that correct 'DecaFe' are you saying that the coilovers come w/ front adjustable camber built in? I find that hard to believe because on the TL you would adjust front camber by the upper control arm ball joint.

NVM. Found the answer. And just as I suspected camber plates not applicable for our cars. Here's the PDF:

As an added service if you choose spring rates 4k higher or lower than the recommended setting we will revalve the dampers for you.
quoted straight from BC site. Don't know how precise BC or TEIN are with their re-valve jobs though..

Most of their upgrade springs are only 1 or 2 KG above the standard so its safe to say they don't revalve the shocks. Your just getting stiffer springs with same struts.

^^^I agree.

I guess it's all personal preference. I preferred the build quality and ease of use of the TEIN and I really do feel like it's the smoothest most oem feeling suspension I've ever driven on. Not saying it's the end all...and I know some people walk around like Tein is the best ever...I just feel like they're what I was looking for and if you look at my avatar, with slight tire tuck I still have a little lower to go and don't want to. I think I'm at the perfect height.

J.

About revalving for harder spring rates, I'd just go with a more aggressive spring setup/manuf. from the get.
