Hrmm..I used to have Megan coilovers on my RSX-S before, and they are a good affordable setup much like Tein.

I have no doubts about the quality. I guess what i meant to ask was if anyone here on the boards are running the Megan setup?

^is that the tein spring rate or the megan?

what im saying is what would the megans sring rate be if they measured it by lbs like tein does? instead of kg. 500lbs? 800lbs?

its hard to compare 671lbs/336lbs to 12kg/6kg if you have no idea how 1kg feels... anyone?

Well Tein is 12kg/6kg, which is the same as 671lbs/336lbs. Their both the same thing, just different units of measure. Assuming they most likely source their springs for the coilovers from the same plant, the only difference would be their shock valving which contributes to the actual "feel".

I called them, they wouldn't release their rates. Maybe someone can source the numbers? I'm actually curious as well.

Well considering the spring rates are set, the same as Tein...

and these are valving adjustable, these seem like a superior coilover to both Tein and H&R, as the ride height is adjustable independent of spring pre-load. That's huge.

No EDFC though...

at first, i thought $1050 was too much, but considering it includes adjustable pillowball mounts, seems like a good deal...

Hmmm, we were all waiting for YOU to get them and let US know how they turned out. C'mon, someone HAS to be the gunine pig. Might just as well be you. Besides, if you do a good selling job they may even give you a discount as more and more of this community buys from them. Or even better, you could be the SOLE source for these on this board.
