Talking McGard Lug Nuts on A-Spec Rims

Hi, i though i would ask my question over here on the 3rd Gen board as you guys probably would have encounted this or more familair with my question.

I currently have A-Spec Rims (18x8) installed on my 2nd Gen TL. I am currently using the OEM lugs that came with the car.

My question is with the A-Spec Rims can I use the Black Chrome - SplineDrive Cone Seat Lug Nut from McGard and the Cone Seat Tuner Lock - Black

Can I use these safely on my vehicle. I only ask because they say they are not for OEM wheel. Does A-Spec count as OEM?

www.mcgard.com

Can anyone chime in and let me know if these would work?

Thanks

The original TL wheels need Ball Seat Type lug nut.

While Cone seat might fit, they will not make contact with the whole area that is concave and with the low torque specification (80 ft-lbs) of the lug nut, I would not put cone seat lug nut on wheels that calls for ball seat type.
