Mazdaspeed rims on a tl?

What is everyones opinion of putting mazda 3 speed wheels on a 3g acura tl and painting the mazda emblem on the centre cap? This is just an idea as I know a guy who has these wheels for sale, and the bolt pattern is the same, not sure about the offset!

Im pretty sure the MS3/MS6 wheels are only 7" wide, maybe 7.5". The offset is +48, they'll look pretty silly. My Civic Si wheels are 17x7" with a +45 and they sit in REALLY far on a TL. Also, if your car has Brembos (Im not sure if 06 6spd's still came with them) they most likely wont fit. My Si wheels wont clear the Brembos.

No, it wasnt a dumb idea. If the wheels were the right size for the car it would've been a good idea. Using nice factory wheels off of another car is good way to get a nicer appearance at a similar price to crap wheels but with better quality. And alot of times you can find them in mint condition with brand new tires cuz people will just switch them out right away and then sell them for the price of a new set of tires. Then you get new tires and wheels! If you want TL-S wheels, then hold out for them. Dont settle on something else, you wont be happy.

the problem is, no one in canada sells type S rims because we either need them for summers or winter rims so canadians tend to keep their stock rims.

i'm looking for Type S/07-08 base but no one has them for sale anywhere in toronto or canada.

i have to look for aftermarkets...

Shipping on a set of wheels from Florida to Calgary (sp?) was around $200. My friend just sold a set of 18's that he had on his TSX & that's how much shipping was. Idk how much shipping is within the country but $200 doesn't seem too bad to me. As I'm sure you will assume, these prices are in US$

200 isn't a bad price, what carrier was it?

in florida, i don't think you have a need for stock wheels since you don't need them for snow

Im pretty sure it was UPS, but Im not 100% sure. I like that we dont need winter wheels!! I have a set of "highway" wheels so I dont wear out my good tires on the freeway. Im gonna pick up a set of 04-05 or maybe 07-08 TL wheels. I dont like the 06's cuz they have TPMS and it makes the valve stem area look funny. They sit out about an inch farther than stock on my Si and it looks sweet with the 235's!!
