Maybe a new question? I hope so

So I have a feeling that you guys will chew my head off but I really did try searching. My question is will the 07-08 base rims fit the factory brembos in the 04-06 sport?

Also I was at the dealership and I saw the updated 5 spoke gunmetalish rims that are on the new TL and was wondering if those will fit either.

Also so I am pointed in the right direction, what is the minimum rim spec to cover the brembos. I assume offset is the only issue here.

Please be gentle

Offset is key but so is the curvature of the spokes. I'm not sure about the Brembo clearance though. I too have an 04-06 Sport and I have the black chrome A-Spec 18's which obviously do clear.

They wil fit but you'll find that the clearance between the caliper and the wheel is less than Brembo recommends so @ 3mm spacer would be needed.

Thank you. That was a perfect answer. Any chance anyone has the specs of the 4th gen 18" and 19" rims in their head willing to share in this thread?
