Marangoni Mythos Tires?
I went to get some new tires today, so I went to Town Fair Tire. They offered me Marangoni Mythos for about $180 a piece. They said this tire was better than the Falken FK-452 becasue of the treadwear. So does anyone know if this tire brand is any good? BTW the tire size is 235-35-19

General Exclaim UHP are working well in hard rain and dry fun~
They cost way less but outperform most anything- highly rated on TireRAck.com
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Compar...rk=1&x=14&y=13 $126 each
Not for serious winter snow,- but if rain is the main prob you experience and want all out performance wet or dry- for the price these are hard to be

08 TL Type S A-Spec
I just ordered the Falken 452s for my 08 Type S. I looked at General Exclaim UHP, Nitto 555, Kuhmo SPTs, and Yokohama S Drives..........the Falken 452s looked the best to me.
Falken 452--Traction AA Temperature A Treadwear 300 95Y (load/speed rating).
**These Falkens are replacing the 451s (which got great reviews) and it looks like the 452 is an improvement.
I got P245/45/17 (to fit stock rim) and they were $109 each.
Never heard of those Marangoni's...........sounds like a restaurant.

There is NO WAY I would pay more than the cost of a Michellin for those Italian ones. I've heard they wear out VERY quickly (BMW forums). My Falken 452's have already gone 25K and they look like they've got another 25K left to go before they will be done. They grip as well as any of the performance tires I've had on prior cars (including MIchelins, Prielli, Bridgestone, Toyo, etc). For the $135/tire I paid for my 245/35-19's they can't be beat. Of course, the price fluctuates on these like with any tire but shop around. You can save yourself $30 to $40/tire and get a good tire. If your going to spend $180/tire then go for some michelins.

08 TL Type S A-Spec
I looked up prices for your tire size of P235/35/19 on www.discounttiredirect.com
Falken 452 would be $149.00 each
Kuhmo SPT would be $155.00 each
Nitto NT 555 would be $163.00 each
Yoko S Drive would be $200.00 each
**Out of these 4 tires..........I picked the Falken 452 for my Type S........and I think once you see them in person.........you will like them, too. My
**If you go to a P245/35/19..........The Falken 452 is only $167.00 each. This would look killer on your TL.......the 245's WILL FIT.
Just have any Discount Tire Co. match the online price for you.

I'm actually running on Marangoni Mythos and they are great. I'm running on 235/35/19 fronts and 275/30/19 rears and they are SUPER quiet and inexpensive. I have nothing but good things to say about these rubbers.
