Make my 2006 "feel" more like a 2011???
I brought my 2006 6-speed TL in for service last week and to get a new set of tires installed. The car has 18x8.5 A-spec rims which I had originally mounted Goodyears on - but those tires were among the worst I have ever had for bad wear and vibration. Got a set of Continentals installed on the A-spec rims - and now the car is quieter and drives nicer (less wandering) -but-
I got a loaner car for the day: A 2011 TL (auto) - and the biggest difference I felt driving the 2011 over the 2006 was just the "feel" of the car. It felt more solid than the 2006.
Now I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to tighten up the feel of the 2006 . Swaybars? Chassis reinforcement? New struts and springs? All of the above?
Looking for suggestions.......

Start with shocks and/or springs.
Put new front shocks in the '02 earlier this year (just run-of-the-mill NAPA/Monroe Sensa-Traks) and it feels 100% better - tighter and smoother.
