You can, but the speedo will be off a little. One guy is running 245/40 on his M45 rims.

I don't see anything wrong with a 40 profile on 19s since guys with 20s run 35 profile tires. They both are going to make you speedo a little slower.

haha

marginal utility is one of my favorite terms. i use it on almost a daily basis.

it most applies to the movie theaters, where they try to sell you a large popcorn for on 25c more. :-p

I currently have the stock suspension. The automatic TL's have a 17mm sway bar which is pretty flimsy. From what I've been reading here on the forum is that a new rear sway bar is one of the best upgrades you can do for the TL. I bought it on ebay for $140 shipped.

I installed it 2 hours ago after work and it feels like a different car. The progress bar is 24mm and has 2 settings. I set it on the hard setting. Basically, when I turn now going slow or fast, the back end doesn't lean(sway) into the turn really hard like it used to forcing me to countersteer to get the car back in control and out of the lean. which was dangerous on its own. The steering becomes more precise and the car now feels smaller than it really is. With the old sway bar in parking lots, the passengers used to get thrown around when I back up and move forward out of stalls. Now with the new bar, the car stays flat.
