lowering springs on 20's

I have a 2004 acura TL with 20 x 7.5 rims. i just ordered the skunk 2 lowering springs which are supposed to make my ride drop 2" in the front and 1.8" in the rear. will that work? is there enough room? will i rub?

does anyone else have the 04 TL on 20" rims and dropped if so how much of a drop and does it ride well?
also....
if i just put the springs on will it really hurt my stock struts and shocks?

thanks to all in advance

Like I said before I had 19 x 8 with 235 35 19 lowered on H&R Race Springs and I was fine. What size tires are you running?

I have a 04 and I'm running 245/35/20 and was dropped on Eibach Pro Kit springs. My ass rubbed like hell (hehe). I took the springs off and now I'm rolling around at stock height. You will definently have to get those fenders rolled.

you wont rub. 7.5 width is very narrow, common tire size for that is 225.
the only way i see you rubbing is if the wheel is 20x7.5 -10

What is the offset on the wheels? that is a major factor

offset is the key. i have 20 x 8.5 front and 20 x 10 in the back both are 40 offset and dont rub. but its lowered on ebiach. and thats with 275 30 20 on the back.

^^^ Why did you ever go with a wheel which is narrower than the OEM 8" width?

hey pricelybug it is .5 difference WO!!! CRY ABOUT IT!!! i hate people who answer posts with stupid comments.

according to Ktran3991 its good i went with 7.5 because now i can drop it 2 inches while on 20 inch rims and not rub especially with a +40mm offset.
