Seems to me like you bought incorrect size wheels. What is the width and offset? What size tires? And yes if they are rubbing now then they should rub even more when you drop it unless the negative camber helps your situation, which I doubt it.

Lowering will just magnify the rubbin you already have. Not a good idea.

My offset is 7.5. They are 18 inch rims. I had a person tell me that if you put 2 shimys on each spring then they wont rub at all. Is this true or does anybody have any idea what he is talking about?! or heres a generla question: on a 2000 tl which offset and rim size is ideal? meaning there is no rub. thanks for the help! :enforcer:

That's not your offset.........that's your width. If you have an 18x7.5" wheel your offset has to be pretty low to be rubbing. Generally 18x7.5 +45 is the ideal fit, some have even gotten away with +42 offset. Look on the back of the wheel, it should tell you the offset there. Also the tires have a lot to do with it as well. You shouldn't have anything bigger then 225/40/18. So get back to me with the offset and tire size. Post pics too so we can see what we are dealing with.
