I just installed some 20" x 8.5 with 35 series nitto what can you recommend for as lowering with no rub?

two quick questions:
1. when you say 35 series tires... were they 235/35 or 245/35????
2. your wheels... what's the offset????

Exactly...the key piece of info is the offset..

 

All I know is the offset is between +42mm thru +45mm the rims came off a 2002 lexus LS430 with a offset +42mm

the tire size is 20/245/35

 

I too just got some 20's and am looking to lower about an inch or so 235/35/20 I'm not sure of the offsets I need to check that out.

 

you should have no rubbing with a 1" to 1.5" drop.... just keep your camber at around 1.5 degrees...

I'm running 245/35 w/ 40mm offset & 1.5" drop... NO RUB...

As a side note... I did roll my fenders 'cause I was previously running 35mm offset wheels... it's crazy what 5mm of offset effects...
