Lowered or Aspec??

Hey guys, when I see 3g TLs lowered with springs, I can't tell them apart from TLs that have an A spec kit (bumpers, side skirts),
the type s in particular.

I have 07 type s, and I love the look of TLs lowered approx 1 inch front and back. Help a noob out and enlighten me on how to possibly tell them apart. Tire to fender distance maybe? Thanks much

so you want us to tell you how to tell the difference between an aspec suspension TL and a lowered TL?

If the lowered TL has coils that the owner adjusts to the same height as aspec, you will never tell unless you go under the car and look at the suspension.

also, any kind of weight (luggage or passengers) will change height.

so essentially, you're asking for the impossible.

I suggest just asking the owner of the car, or just get on your knees and look at the suspension from the bottom.

The aspec kit does give the car a lower appearance, and it's probably because it does sit a little lower than without.

The whole lowering thing is to close wheel gap though.
You ever see those cars that have huge wheel gap but the body kit sits low on the ground? Ugly.

Gunner, I'm lowered on H&R Sports Springs. It's a modest drop. It's a lot less expensive too. You can see pictures in My Garage. Get to it by clicking on the name of my car at the top of my signature.
